Living Water

16 Mar

Busy morning running –

literally, and as taxi service

Tired…. hungry…..

trying to focus on the FEAST, not the fast

and it’s hard.

I drank a glass of water.

As I felt the cool liquid literally reviving, restoring,

bringing life to my physical body,

Jesus whispered in my ear,

“I am the Living Water.”

and I feasted!

You’re so sweet, Gidget! I’m not doing a complete food fast. One of the things I’m praying for deliverance from is food and seeing that as a source of comfort, or something to do when I’m tired. I had a wise husband and friend advise me to not do the total food fast to avoid extreems – during and after the fast. So I’m doing a Daniel fast with a few modifications. The biggest one is no snacky carbs, even if they’re “approved” on the Daniel fast. If you think of me, pray for me and my church during these 21 days. I’ve had some neat conversations with my boys last night and today that will probably find their way into another post. 🙂 Appreciate your comments, girl.

When I drink of Him, I shall never thirst. I recently started a journey to health and wholeness. I am an emotional eater and am learning to bring God into this area of my life so that I can give Him complete control.
