Spring of Living Water

18 Mar

“My people have committed two sins:
They have forsaken me, the spring of living water,
and have dug their own cisterns,
broken cisterns that cannot hold water.”
Jeremiah 2:13

Thanks so much, Sharon. I wish I had taken the picture, but it’s from Microsoft Office clip art online. It is a nice one, though! 🙂

I want to truly focus on my dear Living Water… and absorb that “Water” into my spiritual self. Nothing could be more important!

Broken cisterns, yes, we are good at those, aren’t we? So happy to know He offers living water – always, without leaks. Thanks for visiting my blog, too. Have fun writing with those little men.

Thanks, Maureen. I think one of the reasons I really liked this verse was just what you said – I think I can do things so much better, but in reality what I can do is broken. God, on the other hand, is “always” & “without leaks”. Love it! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

I love this verse Michelle! Always such a much needed reminder that Jesus is what we all most desperately need.
