A picture’s worth 1000 words.

This one’s worth 1000 Blessings, too!!

My view this morning made my heart sing.
I only wish I could have snapped the one where David had his cheek resting on his fist as well.
I am blessed, and so are the boys with such a great role model in their Dad!!

Question for my wise friend….what to do when the child does not model despite your efforts at modeling correct behavior?

That’s why I took this – to remind myself that

        every so often

they do copy the right stuff!! I had a wiser friend tell me that spiritual growth is just like feeding a baby. We’d never let a child starve himself by not eating. Sometimes we have to spoon feed even if they don’t want it. That gave me lots of hope, and a sense of “it’s ok” to tell them to do things if they’re not picking up on the subtle modeling.

I am noticing in our home how actions seem to speak much louder than words! Lovely picture of your family, great job Dad! πŸ™‚

This is so true, Heather. Notice he’s copying Dad, not me!! πŸ™‚ Isn’t parenting such a journey?

I really do wish I could have gotten the one where they had identical poses. But that was a sweet moment & I’m glad I caught it. I love you!!
