MAMA Power!
Actually, that was the name of my fantasy football team this year.
I came in 1st place in the regular season!
Best record of ANYONE in our league!!
YIPPEE!!!
Til my own brother beat me in the first round of the playoffs
And my youngest son did me in the second round!
So I finished 4th.
Grrrrrrr!
Next year I’m MAMA Power OFR (Out For Revenge!)
I take my football seriously!!
Those of you who know me aren’t surprised, are you?! 🙂
But I digress!!
I really wanted to share with you the MAMA Power I’ve got in my life.
Cuz I’m super blessed, and it’s generational.
One of the 1st posts I ever wrote was 1 week, 2 birthdays, Eternal Impact, talking about the incredible impact my grandmother, Honey, has had on my life. She just celebrated 98 years!!
And the incredible impact my Mom has made on my life. Her birthday is 4 days after Honey’s. I hope I can be half the mom to my boys that she’s been to my brother and me! You really need to read the post to see how blessed I am!
I’m double blessed with a 2nd mom! Tim’s Mom also recently celebrated a birthday. She also has had an incredible impact on my life – personally, and mainly in the great job she and Dad Eichner did raising such a godly man in Tim. Mom Eichner is a woman of faith with a heart the size of Texas! She’s an encourager, and someone who loves to laugh. I’m so very thankful for her and her legacy.
Someday my boys will appreciate all the MAMA Power they have in their life. I’m so grateful that God has allowed them to build relationships with all 3 of these mighty women of faith! I can’t even tell you what a blessing that is – how that makes my heart sing!!
I hope that the MAMA Power my boys see in me
will be as influential for God’s Kingdom
as my 3 MAMA Power women have been in my life!!
I love you, Mom, Honey, and Mom Eichner!!

Oh, these pictures of your long line of “Mama Power” are beautiful… such a testimony to the legacy Christ is weaving through the faithful women in your family. I’ve been blessed with some AMAZING “Mama Power”, too. Some days I look at my kids and try to imagine how God will use them to carry on the faith to the next generation—amazing, isn’t it?

I joined Five Minute Friday for the first time today and already I’m feeling so excited at the power of talking positive about the great mothers we know and learning to talk powerful about the great mothers that we are. You have a great mother heritage to pass on to your kids, with photos, memories and words of affirmation. love it!
